Day 01: Trivandrum / Kovalam
Arrive Trivandrum. Meet and transfer to Kovalam. Check into the hotel for 2 nights. After lunch and rest visit the famous Kovalam beach. Overnight at Hotel
Day 02: Kovalam / Kanyakumari / Kovalam
After breakfast drive to Kanyakumari (100kms/ 2 ½ hrs). Kanyakumari situated at the southern most and is the confluence Indian Ocean, Bay of Bengal and Arabian Sea. On the way visit Padmanabhapuram Palace. The interesting places to see are Vivekananda Rock Memorial, which is accessible by boat, Gandhi memorial and Devi temple. After sunset drive back to Kovalam. Day 03: Kovalam / Alleppey
After breakfast drive to Alleppey (180kms / 4hrs). Check into the houseboat for the night. Houseboats were used to move cargo from once place to other through inland waterways when road transport was nil. Now the boats are equipped with all modern facilities. It normally consists of a bedroom with an attached bathroom, a kitchen where food is cooked and a living area, which doubles as dining space. There will be 2 oarsmen and a cook to assist you in the boat. The houseboat cruises through the backwaters in the daytime and anchors itself at a convenient place in the night. Check in time of houseboat is at12 noon. All food served are cooked inside the boat. Overnight in the houseboat
Day 04: Alleppey / Kumarakom
After breakfast disembark from the boat at 09.30hrs and drive to Kumarakom (50kms/ 1 ½ hrs). Check into the hotel. Rest of the day is to relax at the resort. Overnight at the Hotel
Day 05: Kumarakom / Thekkady
After breakfast drive to Thekkady, also called Periyar (145kms / 4hrs). The Periyar Tiger sanctuary is situated here. Check into the hotel for the night. After noon enjoy a boating (on own) in lake Periyar to see the wild life. The probable animals to see are Bison, Gaur, wild elephants, lion tailed masquerades and a variety of birds. Later free to explore the spice plantations (on own). You can buy the best of the spices in Periyar. Overnight at Hotel
Day 06: Thekkady / Munnar
After breakfast drive to Munnar (110kms/ 4 hrs). Munnar is the hill station situated on the Western Ghats at the height of 1600 feet above sea level. Check into the hotel... Afternoon visit Ervavikulam National Park also called Rajamalai. Overnight at Hotel
Day 07: Munnar
After breakfast proceed for sight seeing tour of Munnar. The visit includes Mattupetty dam, lake, Echo point, Kundala Lake, Devikulam and Tea gardens. Overnight at Hotel
Day 08: Munnar / Cochin
After breakfast drive to Cochin (150kms / 4.30hrs). Check into the hotel. Cochin is known as the Queen of Arabian Sea. The important places to visit are Fort Cochin and Mattanchery. Sight seeing includes Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace, Jew street, St Francis Church and Chinese fishing nets. Evening is free for shopping. Cochin now has some of the best textile showrooms and jewelry shops which offers a vide range of dress materials/ornaments. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 09: Cochin / Guruvayoor / Wayanad
After early breakfast drive to Guruvayoor (105 kms / 2 hrs). This is one of the most important pilgrim centers for Hindus. The most interesting thing about the temple is that it owns the largest number of elephants. The elephant stable – Punnathoor Kotta – caters to fifty plus elephants. After lunch proceed to Vythiri (200 kms / 5 hrs). Check in late into the resort.

After breakfast visit the sight places in and around Wayanad. It includes Pookot Lake, Lakkidi, Edakkal Cave etc.

Day 1 - Cochin.
Arrive at the International Airport at Cochin. You will be met and transferred to the hotel. Check in for 2 nights. Cochin is called as the Queen of the Arabian Sea and has one of the finest natural harbour in the world. One could see the various impressions left by the Arabs, Chinese, Dutch, Portuguese and finally the British in the older Cochin. Afternoon sight seeing of Cochin, visit Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St Francis church and Chinese fishing nets etc. Evening drive to the theatre to witness the Kathakali dance, the tradition dance form of Kerala... Overnight stay in the Hotel.
Day 2 - Cochin / Alleppey.
Late morning check out of the hotel and drive to Alleppey to board into the houseboat. Houseboats are former Cargo boats, now restructured and fitted with all amenities. There will be a cook and 2 oarsmen to assist you in the boat. All food are cooked and served inside the boat. It has a bedroom with a toilet, a living area where you can relax and have food and a kitchen. The boat will cruise through the backwaters in the daytime and will anchor itself at a convenient location at the night. Overnight stay in the Houseboat.
Day 3 - Alleppey / Kumarakom.
After breakfast disembark from the Houseboat at Kumarakom to check into the backwater resort for the night.
Rest of the day is to relax by the resort. Overnight stay in the Hotel.
Day 4 - Kumarakom / Thekkady.
Drive to Thekkady. Enroute enjoy a lunch with a family. Check into the Hotel for 2 nights. Overnight stay in the Hotel.
Day 5 - Thekkady.
Morning, spice plantation Tour and visit to the spice market. Evening, a boat ride in Lake Periyar to see the wild life. The probable animals to see are the wild elephants, Bison, Gaur, wild monkeys and a variety of birds. Overnight stay in the Hotel.
Day 6 - Thekkady / Madurai.
Drive to Madurai, one of the ancient cities of India. Check into the hotel for 2 nights.
The main attraction in Madurai is the Meenakshi Temple, with its 12 towers, each at a height of 45 - 50 meters. Evening, visit the Meenakshi temple and the Thousand Pillared Mandapam. Overnight stay in the Hotel.
Day 7 - Madurai.
Morning enjoy a brief sight seeing of Madurai City. This includes the Gandhi Museum, Thirumala Nayakar Mahal and Mariammam Teppakulam, the temple tank. Rest of the day is free for shopping. Overnight stay in the Hotel.
Day 8 - Madurai / Trichy / Tanjore.
Drive to Tanjore enroute - visiting Trichy. Visit the Rock Fort Temple and the Sri Rangam temple at Trichy. After lunch proceed to Tanjore. Tanjore boasts on the glorious Chola culture. It was the capital of the Cholas, a dynasty of temple builders. Check into the hotel for 2 nights. Overnight stay in the Hotel.
Day 9 - Tanjore.
The sight seeing places in Tanjore includes Sri Brahadeshwara temple, built in the 10th centaury with a total height of 65 meters, the palace with huge corridors and spacious halls. The Sangeeth Mahal within the Palace is a striking example of the engineering skills of the ancient builders. Overnight stay in the Hotel.
Day 10 - Tanjore / Chidambaram / Pondichery.
Drive to Chidambaram. The temple complex covers an area of 40 acres. Its has extensively carved Gopurams, a thousand pillared hall and 5 major halls each used for different celebrations/get together. After lunch proceed on to Pondichery. Check into the hotel for the night. Pondichery, The old French colony has retrieved its Indian character, but the scent of the French influence can be found again in the red kepis of the police officers, French spelling on signboards and traffic signs and some buildings and old stones . In the evening, visit Sree Aurobindo Ashram. Overnight stay in the Hotel.
Day 11 - Pondichery / Mahabalipuram.
Drive to Mahabalipuram and check into the hotel for 2 nights.
Mahabalipuram is situated on the shore of Bay of Bengal and was a port of Pallavas. It is historically known for its rock cut monuments. The interesting monuments to see are Arjuna's Penance, a bas relief, 27 metres long and 9 metres high, the rock cut Mandapams situated within a radius of 1kms are known for their design and execution. Also interesting are the Rathas (temple chariots) with their Gopurams, multi-pillared and sculptured walls. Rest of the day is free to relax in the beach. Overnight stay in the Hotel
Day 12 - Mahabalipuram/Kanchipuram/Mahabalipuram.
Morning, drive to Kanchipuram, known as the city of Thousand Temples. Visit the interesting temples. Kanchipuram is also famous for its exquisite hand woven silk fabrics. Drive back to Mahabalipuram. Rest of the day is free. Overnight stay in the Hotel.
Day 13 - Mahabalipuram / Chennai.
Check out and drive to Chennai the capital of Tamil Nadu state. It's the fourth largest city in India and is a bustling commercial center. Chennai can boasts of an interesting flair of South Indian Art, Architecture, dance, music and festivals with rich cultural traditions. Check into the hotel for the night. Afternoon enjoy a short sight seeing tour of Chennai city. This includes Museum, St Thomas Mount, and Marina beach. Overnight stay in the Hotel.

Day 1: Arrive Delhi
Morning arrive Delhi Airport, where you will be met and transferred to the hotel. Early afternoon leave for a sight -seeing tour of Old and New Delhi. Visit Jama Masjid, this immense mosque is both the largest in India and the final architectural extravagance of Shah Jahan with a courtyard capable of holding 25,000 devotees, Raj Ghat; a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi is a simple black marble platform that marks the spot of his cremation on 31 January, 1948. Two museums dedicated to Gandhi are located near by. Later you drive past Red Fort citadel.
In New Delhi visit the 11th century Qutab Minar Tower, built by Qutub-ud-din Aibek of the Slave Dynasty, who took possession of Delhi in 1206. It is a red sandstone tower, standing tall at a height of 72.5 metres and is covered with intricate carvings and verses from the holy Qur'an. The India Gate, a memorial raised in honour of the Indian soldiers martyred during the Afghan war and drive past the grand government buildings the President’s House and Parliament House all dating back to the time of British Raj. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2: Drive Delhi / Agra (200kms - 4hrs)
After breakfast drive down to the city of Taj, Agra. Arrive Agra and check in to the hotel. Late afternoon start to discover the earlier capital of the Mughals – Agra by visiting the legendary Taj Mahal.
Visit Taj Mahal till sunset, one of the Seven Wonders of the World and surely the most extravagant expression of love ever created. 20,000 men laboured for over 17 years to build this memorial to Shah Jahan's beloved wife. It's a wealth of white marble and semi-precious stone - undoubtedly the highlight of the tour. Later you may wish to explore the local handicrafts and shopping centers of the city where one can look for marble inlay work, fine quality carpets, Zari and embroidery, leather goods etc.
Day 3: Agra
Today let’s start our day with the imposing Agra Fort; this powerful fortress of red sandstone encompasses, within its 2.5-km-long enclosure walls, the imperial city of the Mughal rulers. It comprises many fairy-tale palaces, such as the Jahangir Palace and the Khas Mahal, built by Shah Jahan; audience halls, such as the Diwan-i-Khas; and two very beautiful mosques. Later from here we proceed to a photo tour of the Taj Mahal from the riverside to capture the splendid views of the Taj situated across the river Yamuna and from Mehtab Bagh — the moonlit garden — believed to have been designed by Shah Jahan to view the Taj on moonlit nights, far away from the maddening crowd, The garden complex is situated on the left bank of Yamuna opposite to TajMahal. It is a huge square measuring approximately 300 x 300m and in straight alignment with the Taj Mahal. The forestry plantations and agricultural fields provide a green forecourt to TajMahal and its reflection in Yamuna. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4: Drive Agra / Fatehpur Sikri / Jaipur (250kms - 5hrs)
After breakfast we drive leisurely to Jaipur - Founded by Maharaja Jai Singh II, this ‘pink city’ is meticulously constructed on the lines of the Shilpa – Shastra, an ancient Hindu treatise on architecture. The palaces and forts of the yesteryears, which were witnesses to the royal processions and splendors, are now living monuments.. Enroute we stop to visit Fatehpur Sikri - which has been described as “the world’s most perfectly preserved ghost town”. Built by Akbar in the late 16th century, it was abandoned after only 14 years, and the elegant buildings of this superb walled city remain intact to this day. On arrival at Jaipur we check inn to our hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5 : Jaipur
After enjoying a hearty breakfast at the hotel you’ll visit the dramatic hilltop fortress at Amber, ascend the imposing fort on a painted elephant. You’ll wander among glittering inlays and the Hall of Mirrors. On the way back stop to view the elegant Palace of the Winds, this elaborate building, now little more than a façade, is encrusted with delicate screens and carved balconies from which the royal ladies, confined to their quarters, could sneak views of the outside world.
Post lunch tour of the Maharajah’s City Palace, now partly a museum display a unique fusion of Mughal and Hindu architecture, and house a rare collection of paintings, Rajput armoury and costumes. Later we visit the unique Observatory, situated in the heart of the city where time has been accurately measured since the 17th century. Evening free to Stroll in the colourful bazaars of Jaipur where one can shop for Jewellery, Paintings, block prints, textiles, carpets, brassware, blue pottery etc. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6 : Jaipur / Delhi (250kms - 5hrs)
Morning after breakfast travel back to Delhi, arrive in time and proceed to the airport to board your onward flight.
